What is Vancouver Art Attack?!!

Vancouver Art Attack is a large scale art show and live auction that connects students, artists and collectors, while engaging the community and teaching them the value of art. The artists are given four hours and a blank canvas to create gallery quality art, which is then auctioned off to the highest bidder.

The Battle of the Brush

The Battle of the Brush is a an 80 minutes live painting competition where multiple teams of artists compete in a time-limited competition before their spontaneous collective works are displayed and judged by local art connoisseurs.

Art Battle is live competitive painting. Painters create the best work they can in 20 minutes. As they work, patrons move around the easels, closely watching the creative process. The medium is acrylic paint and the tools allowed are brushes, palette knives or any non-mechanical implements. At the end of the round, the audience votes democratically for their favourite painting and bids in silent auction to take the work home.
